Well another New York Fashion Week (NYFW) season has come to an end. This season designers presented their Spring/Summer 2018 collections at Skylight Clarkson, Pier 59 Studios and too many other off sight venues to name. The hustle and bustle of fashion week is always hectic, but this season it was more than hectic is was exhausting. The venues were small, far apart and un accommodating. Sadly the essence of NYFW has dramatically changed for the worse not the better. I am heart broken that fashion week has come to this. Long gone are the tents at Bryant Park or the elegance of Lincoln Center. The reality is NYFW needs a make over! Yes a complete face lift; before it caves in completely…!
In the midst of all the mayhem and drama that this fashion week brought. I managed to go to shows and meet fun and fascinating people. There is certainly never a dull moment in the fashion world and I am glad to be a part of it even in the midst of the chaos at least I looked good! (lol)

My first show this season was SUPIMA’s tenth annual design competition hosted by June Ambrose. The show consisted of 7 designers from 7 different design schools across America from FIT in the heart of New York City to Fashion Institute Of Design and Merchendising located in Los Angeles, California. Each designer gets to present their S/S 2018 collection and at the end of the show a winner is chosen and awarded a prize of $10,000. All the designers did such a great job; unfortunately there can only be one winner.
Here are some of my favorite looks from the show :
